A few years ago, when I had been a teenager I was in a vehicle accident. I'd been in the car along with some pals driving home to Scottsdale from an excursion to California. We had been struck from the side very hard and our motor vehicle rolled. I had been in the passenger seat. Thank goodness, not one person was killed, yet many of us ended up injured badly. I had a busted arm, concussion and many cuts in addition to bruises. I have since healed almost completely… aside from a little scaring.
The way the car rolled resulted in the glass to shatter and fly directly into my face. My face got cut up extremely severely. I went in for the consult and the cosmetic surgeon was very nice. He was very nice and replied each one of my inquiries and helped me put all of my own concerns aside. He spoke with me in regards to the procedure and described grafting and just what exactly was included. I felt good after listening to him and I went ahead and booked to get the cosmetic surgery a little while later on.
It's been about a year today since the operation and I feel great. The procedure went very good, I recovered great and I could not be happier. My cosmetic surgeon did a fantastic job. It truly is such a good sensation to have the confidence to look in the mirror and be satisfied with what I observe. I feel like I see myself again. It was a choice that I struggled with for some time; however I could not be happier with the results.
